Delete Branch "%!s()"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
reminder: anonymity is when you are amongst a group of people, and you are indistinguishable from the other members of the group
dress all black (mask, clothes, gloves, shoes, glasses). In that group, everyone dresses in black, so that theres nothing easily identifiable about them (your anonymity depends on how big that group of people dressed in black is, and if everyone looks the same)
LEAVE YOUR PHONE ACTIVATED, AT HOME, DO NOT BRING IT WITH YOU (linked to the "phone numbers are a deanonymization tool") this is to have a way of saying "i was at home during that time, here's my phone number to prove it"
if you want to use a secondary phone outdoors, when doing something sensitive, you need to keep it powered off, and in a faraday bag, whenever you are not outdoors, in your gear.
to be showcased aswell "how to have a phone for outdoors anonymous use"
reminder, there exists a permanent track record of wherever phones with simcards has ever been (like a red line that starts whenever your phone is powered on, to whenever it is powered off). therefore your "public use" phone cannot be on you when you are doing something sensitive outdoors.
the safest way is to just not bring a phone with you when you are outdoors. leave it at home and it will be as if you stayed at home during the protest. If you want to have a phone with you anyways, proceed as follows:
you need a secondary phone that is only used when you are outdoors, in your anonymous gear, to prevent yourself from being identified.
recieve your secondary google pixel phone and immediately install grapheneOS on it. (don't use simcards, nothing) (link to https://blog.nowhere.moe/opsec/graphene/index.html ) once done keep it in a faraday bag (can be purchased on amazon) (for those next 3 steps, feel free to criticize it, the main problem is when the eSIM becomes active, the cellular triangulation begins for that particular eSIM, and therefore it cannot be at your own house, it must be elsewhere.)
go outside, dress all black to remain unindentifiable, and go somewhere with public wifi, with your new grapheneOS secondary phone
there, connect on that public wifi, download the tor browser (link to https://blog.nowhere.moe/opsec/MobileTor/index.html)
via the tor browser, with some monero, purchase an eSIM from https://silent.link, and activate it on the secondary phone. Where you are right now, you must not be identifiable or be under surveillance (under a camera) as you can consider that there is a yellow line (that is visible by the authorities) that starts from your secondary phone. once you validate it works (just disconnect from the wifi and see if you can access the internet), power it off and put it in the faraday bag.
now, whenever you are outdoors, in your gear, and unindentifiable you can take the phone out of the faraday bag, power it on and use it .
for sensitive communications while outdoors, feel free to use SimpleX Disappearing messages as showcased in this future tutorial: #63
